The kitchen is his studio. Cooking utensils are his paint brushes. Red Martini chef Devon Taylor always wanted to be an artist, as his art developed, he discovered he could reach people on more than just a visual level.

Now, he creates his artwork as the executive chef and owner of The Red Martini Restaurant and lounge in Ajax.

"To me, presenting a nice dish is like putting out a piece of art," chef Taylor says. "You can create artistic dishes with colours and flavour to please any palate."

"I highly recommend this for anything from a night out with the girls to I feel like a nice dinner out" to a celebration dinner. The menu is varied and you won't find a dish that's "just like" anything you've had at another restaurant.
