It’s early afternoon in mid-June with lots of bright light thanks to a cloudless sky, one of those days where there’s a quality in the air that promises we are on the cusp of summer. Gardens everywhere are bursting with bloom and one of my favourites places at this time of year is the Oshawa Valley Botanical Garden (OVBG,) an impressive park-like space and a hidden jewel located smack dab in the middle of the city of Oshawa.
